"Where was Blue Planet - Consortium I recorded?"
Each of the artists featured on Blue Planet composed, performed, recorded, engineered and produced their music in their own personal studios. The compositions were later compiled, edited and mastered by Vincent F. Evans and Larry Ottaway, at Larry's Mostyn Sound studio in Victoria, B.C.
"What does Kokoro mean?"
"Kokoro composer Tim Gerwing says that it is the Japanese word for "heart."
"Is Kosova the same as Kosovo?"
Besart Hysniu, the composer, tells us that "Kosova" is the Albanian pronunciation, whereas "Kosovo" is the Serbian pronunciation. Besart is an ethnic Albanian, originally from Kosova.
"Who or what is EVA?"
"EVA is a NASA acronym for "Extra Vehicular Activity," i.e., a SpaceWalk.
"What does Renshenfengwangjiang mean?
"Renshenfengwangjiang is Mandarin Chinese for "ginseng / royal jelly," a natural health tonic, containing extracts of ginseng root and royal jelly, a substance secreted by queen bees, and much enjoyed by composer Vincent F. Evans.
"Where is Highway 93, does it really exist?"
Highway 93 is an isolated Rocky Mountain route that runs between the cities of Banff and Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Vincent says that the title, "Twin Rainbows Over Highway 93," was inspired by the twin spectrums he once experienced while traveling along that route.
"What is SOCAN?"
SOCAN is the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada. SOCAN is a performing rights society, the only one in Canada. Its role is to license the users of music in return for copyright fees. It then distributes these fees as royalties to SOCAN members in Canada and the thousands of foreign music copyright owners whose works the society also licenses in this country (click here to visit SOCAN's WebSite).
"What does E.V. stand for?"
E.V. is an abbreviation for the Latin, "Era Vulgaris," which means Common Era.

"Where did the beautiful earth images featured on Blue Planet originate?"
All of the earth images on Blue Planet were originally captured by NASA astronauts. We first encountered them in the magnificent book The Home Planet, by Kevin W. Kelley for the Association of Space Explorers (Addison-Wesley Publishing Company Inc.). We licensed the images from the international copyright holders:
